After being banished by Discord for his treachery, Paradox has returned for revenge. Howwever he's not alone in his quest for Equestria's throne, Paradox has manipulated a pony who is able to wield a powerful amount of magic and has donned him as his apprentice. During his attempt to carry out his teacher's mission, Blaze devolops amnesia and is befriended by the loving and gentle Fluttershy. After seeing his student fall to the power of friendship, Paradox appears before his apprentice and restores his memories. With his old memories restored and new ones made, Blaze is stricken with a difficult decision: Stand by the side of his new friends he's made and confront his former teacher or carry out his teacher's orders and claim all of Equestria with him.

Glad you got the next chapter up. And also, this is why ponies don't trust you Discord. Seriously, he needs to stop making it easy for bad guys to win. Then again, we wouldn't have an interesting story.

OK, so is this like with Tirek? I'm asking because, surely Discord knows what'll happen if he doesn't stop Paradox/get rid of Blaze's chaos powers...right?
6995891 he does know, but Discord is well aware that he can take back any chaos magic within Blaze or Paradox at anytime. Though he can recover a lot of his lost magic, Discord knows that it would take Paradox a lot more time then what he's giving him for him to become stronger than Discord. In short, Discord knows Paradox will never get strong enough in the little time he has, and by the time their final battle comes, Discord knows he'll have the upper hand. And remember, Paradox is nowhere strong enough to manipulate Discord. As for Blaze, as long as he can control his new chaos abilities, he won't pose as any threat to Equeastria.....but you also have to take into account that Blaze is still suffering from his amnesia, when/if he gets his memory back, I wonder what will happen?
