Finally someone is not affraid to give her some sort of gender, I just have seen many pitcures, or storys where even the character looks like they wanted to fuse both in once, or even make him genderless.
i don´t really care that much about it, but only because they give us the choice to see him as both, I´m not exactly sure if that was supposed to mean that the creator meant that we have to look at him as genderless. Long story short, I believe he just wanted to give us the choice to be a boy, or girl in this story, and that was the most easy way.
Oh and I´m going to read it tomorrow, just wanted to say that.
6823744 I'm pretty sure Toby Fox didn't spell it out for immersion purposes, like you said. One of his tweets even said you should name the "Fallen Child" after you, so I imagine immersion was probably the reason for ambiguous gender as well. Other people just like to see it differently, to very varying degrees. Besides, it's definitely a lot easier to write when you can use a set pronoun.
Anyway, I think this story is off to a good start.

Either that or you actually agreed with me him being generless in the story, so it could be written easier. Even if it sounds different, I have nothing against the genderless thing, I just don´t see the point in it if it should be true that it is meant like that.

6825383 I was agreeing that Toby Fox intentionally chose not to mention Frisk's gender for the sake of player immersion. Nowhere is it ever mentioned or even hinted at that Toby intended Frisk to be genderless, agender, ect. That was all from fans (at least as far as I know of).
For the second part, I was just meaning it was a good idea for the author of this story to choose a gender and role with it, since this isn't a first person story.

Well, on the plus side it looks like Chara's been brought back down to human, and not... you know, demon of powerleveling and growing numbers that can 1-shot an entire universe. That wouldn't be pretty to have in Equestria.

The ability to overpower someone who literally 1-shots the universe and then puts it back together strikes me as something that could've come in handy during the Tirek incident.
you know at the start of the chapter I wanted to say, why not trowing them all in, than just one by one.....
sometimes I prefer it if not just one character after another is joining the story, since that usually kind of prevented me from learning more about the original character and stuff like that. (I would have to think about it to explain it better, but I don't have the time right now)
Whoever I was happy about Papyrus and I always like Toriel.

I kind of agree, making a new world or whatever you meant would be a bit to much, even for her. (at least as long as it is the same Celestia from the show, but still if it would be another Celestia, I can hardly believe her having that power.)

Uh Sans does not look happy, is it due to him thinking that Frisk broke the promise of not resetting the world? (Not really resetting it though since Frisk had no control of the situation their in now, and it's not really resetting). Hope to see an update to see what happens and what Sans does and where everyone else is.
