A Random Guy

Sometimes I forget I have the social skills equivalent of a dried up worm on the edge of the sidewalk.

E

Discord needs some last-minute help for a theatrical production, so he enlists Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash for assistance. What can he say? He's desperate.

Written for the EQD Writer's Training Grounds prompt for Brotherhooves Social.

Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash celebrate their victory at the social, and maybe have a bonding moment of their own.

Interpreted loosely, of course.

I can tell this is going to be interesting. I love how you write Discord and his shenanigans. I look forward to the continuation.

6506510 It'll be done by Saturday, if not Friday, guaranteed. I got a whole bit planned out from the Pygmalion play.

This is pretty amusing. It's bringing an immutable smile to my face. No laughs--but that doesn't mean it's not funny. It's nice and mellow. It takes itself seriously. Can't wait to read the next chapter!

Hmm... It feels like it ended abruptly. Well, for all intents and purposes, it did. For the concept of the story, it ended on the right note. But you left a lot of loose ends. Perhaps, if you ever got some ideas, you could continue this? It'd be interesting to see where things go from here; at least, if the tone remains the same as it is here. But all in all, this helped freshen up my day quite nicely, especially in addition to today's episode. Great job! I think I'll give you a follow.

6514019 I agree it ended a little suddenly. Time restraints and all that. Heck, bringing Scootaloo's mom in was to kick the story in the butt and telling it to wrap it up. If I were to redo it, I'd go more in depth with her drunk mom, screw up scootaloos lines, and maybe have rainbow dash act as part of the play while trying told hold in the pain of a broken wing, all in the name of coveting up the cider thing. But for now, it ended fine enough. I told the story I wanted with the word and time limit, and I'm happy with it.
