Great first chapter. I'm not gonna fave it until I see more chapters but you're definitely headed in the right direction.

Here's a question: if Wubsy now has independant thought won't she eventually come to resent the fact that she's a pet? At the moment it's fine but after a year or so of integrating into pony society will she start to think of herself as deserving the same respect as a pony as opposed to a pet named "Wubsy"?

well the general concept is that inkamimi darlean pie (or inky pie) left the rock farm shortly after her sister left to find herself. she realized that she wont find her talent in the farm so she made her way to the big city with only the families cello that was gathering dust in the attic. also them being sisters is how pinkie convinced her to play the pony pokey at the gala.

What a coincidence--I too was thinking of using the "changeling adopted as a pet" idea for for a story. The main difference is that my version would have had Scootaloo as the adopter. (My thinking was that the Applebloom and Sweetie Belle households both have pets already, so Scootaloo would be jealous and seek out a pet of her own--only to discover a changeling.)

Guess I'll scratch that one off my idea list.
