I am sorry to say that this story does not have as much of an effect on me as it will on everyone else. I enjoyed the story, don't get me wrong. It's just that I used to be closed off from everyone else, ignoring most of what they said unless they were talking to me directly, and I avoided news channels like the plague. It took me a while to learn about 9/11, and I only recently learnd in what year it happened, and subsequently that the time it took me to learn about it was aproxametly 7 to 8 years. I will not say how this makes me feel for personal reasons. I still considered all those people on that day to be heroes and that day to be a tragedy, but sadly, I can't see it the same way others do. Others see it as a tragedy that affected their lives, I see it as something that happened in the past that I don'twant to happen in the future. Others will never forget what they were doing that day, iI will never be able to remember. Am I to be envied, or pitied? Someone please tell me.

I hope that I conveyed what I was trying to and did not offend anyone. If anyone is offended, please let me know and I will delete this comment. I'm not used to putting so much of myself in a comment, so feedback is not only appreciated, but also important.

6415594 thank you for your input. It truly was a horrible day and I would hate to see it happen again in the future. Thank you, though for taking the time to read this

Even the Muslims American is feeling hard about the incident. Some are brutally discriminated for the actions of a few even some are not extremists but every single one of them is receiving the hateful stare of the people. Some tell them to get the hell for their own country. Their veil is thorn, local mosque desecrated. May the God bless every souls that being effected by that day and the day after. I just watched a movie called 'Khan' and it was brilliant.
