i dont like the idea that sunset would grow apart from her human friends that she could just replace them with the pony versions with out any reall thought
some people do keep there high school friends for life
and in series about frindship i just cant see that happening
6681612 I do see where you're getting at. But even though this is a show about friendship, Sunset left Equestria originally because she didn't get what she wanted. Also, Twilight left her friends from Canterlot and we didn't even hear about them again until just this season. And with everyone's different aspirations in this show, I don't think they will all stay in Ponyville for the rest of their lives, but that's just how I see it.
And yes, some people do stay friends with their high school friends afterwards, not always and I think that would be an interesting story dynamic especially for Sunset who's first 'true' friends were the Mane 5/6 depending on whether or not we are counting Sci-Twi.
I'm sorry you didn't really like how I took this idea, and I hope that you find some stories that you like in this AU/headcanon thingy that the fandom has
