Well, those 2 particular deaths ARE in fact vore, no matter how you look at it... More specifically they both are hard vore, which, BTW, is my favorite kind of vore =)

Let's start from mentioning that the whole story has like 6 or 7 death scenes and only 2 of them are vore-related. So no, it is NOT a purely vore fic. Now onto more interesting stuff.

Don't you know the definition of "vore"? Hint: one creature consuming (swallowing, chewing, digesting, whatever) another. On the same note, don't you know what hard vore is? Haven't you seen IRL photos and videos of it?
Hard vore is the only type of vore that actually exists in real world. It is EXACTLY "predator eating another animal", although in our case the animal is a sentient being. How does it differ from unrealistic soft vore if Daring was just swallowed by the plant or the gator? All it adds is realistic outcome and descriptions. Does it stop qualifying as vore because of it? Hardly. If you think so then you are delusional.
There could have been some doubts about calling it "real" vore if it featured just an animal consuming another animal but this right here is 100% vore. The repressed and near-extinct type of it. Also, I hope this will be sufficient proof if you still don't believe me.
I am enjoying this far more than I should be.

I'd classify hard vore as both vore and gore. Sure, with the bestial preds and the purely for eating thought process, you could rule it off as nature. But like Sky says the definition of vore does cover what happens here, the consumption of one creature by another. The same reasoning as what AceofSpades 69 and MyLittleTimeLord touched on though is why this story isn't tagged vore. Vore builds up expectations and imagery of suspension of belief courtesy of the fact soft vore is the clearly dominant vore subset. To a non-vore fan, the mere word switches people off, even if they dig the gory content, so while Sky is and Ace are definitely technically right, the same reasoning as what you gave, TimeLord, is why this story isn't tagged vore.

If you think I wrote that, I'm afraid that isn't the case. While Gravity Falls is a decent show, I don't like humans in what I would call fetish material, and while gore technically isn't, I'm sure a lot of you could read that I found it so in how I described things.

The bracelet has a Goddess imprisoned within, who was sealed in the temple. It is by her magic that Daring isn't paste under a heavy door. Her connection with Daring and reawakening thanks to the contact of blood has her steadily growing more powerful once more, which is why she can reveal her true form to Daring by the end of the chapter.

I tend to picture them more show style when writing regular actions, but when things are getting friskier, then yeah, the focus on those regions prompts me to think of that non-anthro style. And if you want to suggest ideas, feel free. I have thoughts, but more are always welcome. I just remind I'm not obliged to use any.

BTW, my favorite scenes are the snake one and mostly all vore scenes (crocodile, plant and piranha).
I wonder if we'll see any parasitic scenes in the future. If it going to be more sexual, then she can totally be impregnated by a monster or something can lay eggs or other parasitic stuff inside her. I'm not sure if it can go as far as paralyzing or taking control of her body (like some IRL parasites do), but even having something hatch inside her and/or slowly eat her from inside-out would be nice! =)

I have a few ideas about insect predators (mainly a mantis and a spider) and had a good one about a pitcher plant but you already did it in your own way, so yeah... tell me if you're still interested in hearing those. Also, would be real nice if she caught some form of a muted IRL parasite. Those are usually disgusting and force the host to get eaten so it would be nice to see her stumble towards the nearest predator after maybe sleeping in a wrong place filled with plant/whatever spores or something.

I may write a part 2 at some point, I mean to, I just have other projects going.
