The one-shot story is based off the early spoilers for Episode 25 of Season 5, the Cutie Remark, as well as my own little headcanon as to what I think the show will go for. Also Days of Futures Past might have possibly helped inspire it too.
After a devastating battle with Starlight Glimmer ends in the Mane Six's defeat, Twilight gets hurdled back in time by Starlight in an attempt to erase her from history. What happens in the moment that Twilight was sent back to could change the course of Equestria forever.

This story really deserves more views. I love this story. It would be the perfect clincher if they did go this route in the finale. It would make Starlight a far more interesting character for both ends of the spectrums. All while staying true to the charcater and morals in a beliveable way. Not to mention of the hypothethical followup episodes regarding said premise. Bravo my good sir or madam, you have outdone yourself. Please take a bow.

Even though I seriously doubt a pony would be a blank flank once they reach adulthood, this is a great story! You have a better backstory for Starlight Glimmer than what the show did.

Namely, Ponies seem to obtain Cutie Marks after discovering a spell that makes them special. For instance, Rarity's Cutie Mark was founded after her horn dragged her to a rock that had a lot of gems in it and, as such, her 'signature spell' is gem finding.
