Yay! Glad you have this posted here. I follow the ask aquilinus blog and he referred to the story on Google Docs. Glad to see references to Whirly and the nightgaurds and that other nightguard blog too.

Really like the story so far. Your adherence to the characters is admirable. I adore the Derpy/Dinky dynamics. The only problems I saw were a number of typos, which could easily be fixed and cut down on if you let new chapters sit a day or two and then reread/edit.
Interesting idea of Luna and Celestia's family. I have plans to write something of that regard in the future. I'm curious though, where did the names come from?
Also, why the hell does this only have one thumb up?

Many of the names for the Royal ancestors come from Roman and Greek mythology. Some names are the same, and some are gender swaps of the root name. (Yeah, kinda nerdy!
