Besides this the guardians know about magic and the founder of the red lantern corps is a user of blood magic.

Now you are mixing things up, the Red lanterns are not the same as the Green Lanterns. My point are A) Discord is more powerful than a Green lantern ring and B) This isn't a comedy.
Have you seen the episode were Duck Dodgers became a Green Lantern? Cause I really think you should.

Point being, rings combined, Siniestro, with a single yellow ring, used to give a lot of trouble, Discord is more powerful than Siniestro ever was. And has many abilities ring users do not have. Honest, why do they even let him keep the ring?
Also the excuse why they don't give Superrman a ring is basically that they don't trust him, there are tons of Green Lanterns that are human.
5822353 In the fic it says that on the green lantern planet Discord's powers are weakened, so It is possible that all lanterns have a way to counter magic. That means others probably do to. With this magic dampening thingy Discord can't just snap and make all threats smaller than the elements or guardians themselves just go away. That makes Discord... well mortal in the since that now he is now he is a walking zoo with a green ring not a reality altering god.
What... green lanterns and ... Discord... Well then.
This is starting out great! the pacing is magnificent, the whole Discord realizing he doesn't have any friends is logic, and you have a good reason Discord isn't an overpowered god!

I know this will probably be stated, but what time is this in? Like after Hal joins ,after yellow lanterns form, just some aspect of time. I don't want to be guessing it.

In MLP you couldn't focus on Discord's comedy to much without distracting from the plot, but in this cause Discord is the plot!
I love how Discord is being. He gets teleported to an alien world, gets semi-forced into a intergalactic police force, learns he is apart of a race of alien pranksters, and a shell of his former self in power, but he is just all 'Ooooh this is neat'. Perfect Discord!
So, a female dragon-like alien... I love her design, and her attitude, but... my shipping senses are tingling. I'd like to see more of her.

that said im happy i took the time to read it! its soo much fun only with 2 chapters but i will say this. Discord feels off like less chaotic than he should. also bummer that hes not OP anymore but i still say somethings off. like that scene where they tell him the ring is controlled by his thoughts it should have just exploded with confetti and turned Kilowog into a chicken. and then the guardians into hamsters. and then they are screaming "Whos bright idea was it to give him a power thats connected to his freaking mind!?"
also discord is a bit quiet for...Discord XD like he should be more talkative and stuff. then again thats how i write discord, thats not the same for everyone else so i might be projecting xD

Hmm... Seems like an interesting concept. Though, as a lot of other people pointed out, Discord seems a little OOC. I can understand him being traumatized, but still...
