Well now, that is a very interesting concept.... But there is a mistake. There is a way to kill the Nightmare, tho it seems they didn't think about it. Twilight was very close to the idea, but then took a wrong turn too many times along the path.

5618022 Well in this story they said the Nightmare isn't a thing, or a person. It's more of a concept, right? To kill something like that, you remove all traces of it. Both physically and mentally. It already is 'physically' gone, all that is left is mental. By that, is to remove all memory of it, all traces of it, make the world forget it. Then it would even exist, because no one has a name for it, won't even know it's there.
