Trixie has changed a lot- instead of trying to scam yet another pony, she's in her apartment. Bored while it rains. To keep herself from dying of boredom, she begins thinking about her marefriend.

Overall a nice slice of life read.
I like stories, in wich Trixie is just... normal. No raging angel of revenge or broken down suicide candidate.

"Why come to Trixie?" She asked, muffling a yawn when Twilight was finally done. "Your magical rival and clearly, your better in every way shape or form?"

Should this mean You are? Because it would change the meaning of the sentence by 180°.

edit: I think I checked the sentence now....

Not bad at all. A nice little slice of life scene with Trixie being herself, and being a fairly decent pony. (I consider the comics canon - even if not everyone else does - and they show her having cleaned up her act considerably and doing well for herself. Even if she keeps getting into trouble anyway.)

The idea that Trixie is strong-willed and determined enough to power through almost any hardship is in my headcanon, too, as is the idea that she's not willing to treat Twilight like royalty just because she is. A healthy relationship requires you to treat each other like equals, after all.

This was very good. I like it.
