I had a lucid dream once, where I was visiting a doctor and I asked him, quite directly, if it was a dream. He said it was. I argued to myself that it couldn't possibly be a dream; everything was far too detailed and real. I even listed specific spots I felt on my back, and sides and thighs as I sat; which I wouldn't feel at all, if I were, in reality, lying down in a bed.

You have infinite recursion. That's no reason to stop. You could add someone telling this infinitely recursive story, who is themselves in an infinite recursion.
There's a webcomic I read called Drowtales where something like this fits perfectly with how magic has been shown to work. In fact, I'm pretty certain that one character canonically has the souls of several of the readers following her around. I toy around with fic ideas for it a lot, but I shy away from being summoned in as a reader of the comic because that's just too silly, even though I have to change more to make that not happen.
I wanted to be nice and like this story before I read it seeing as how it was in the 104 thousands place, and it moved all the way up to the 84 thousands
Once I commented on a story about an author writing about authors writing infinitely recursive stories, while that author wrote an infinitely recursive story. But really this post is itself an infinitely recursive story, albeit with the "I" contingency, so when I tried to write it, somepony in dreadlocks showed up with this affectionate squint eyed smile. He keeps giving me these papers that are some kind of cease and desist, but I don't know what that means because I'm just a ferret. At least they make decent nesting material.

I am curious if you will ever make a sequel to this story, it feels like it have some potential, that I would want to see. I know that you are working on the AWA rewrite at the moment, but is it a possibility in the future? Also good luck with the rewrite.

Absolutely. Really, above all, I just need to write, even if it’s not AWA. And I’ve been thinking AWA is kind of dark and I’d like to write something else. This would be a nice break from that.
