Nightmare returned, the Elements purified her, and Princess Luna was reunited with her sister. The prophecy was forgotten, as were the 'stars' that freed her. But the 'stars' weren't done yet. They still have a mission to complete, a Princess to serve. The stars are falling, but is Equestria ready for their return?
Timeline wise his story starts before the Gala.
Just so people don't get confused early on, the ponys are ponys, the human tag starts in chapter 2.

You really think so? I'll admit I kinda lost my inspiration for this one for some time now. After struggling to write the next chapter I stopped to try and redo my other one. I have plenty of ideas and I do plan on finishing it, but I'm just not sure where to go from here. Introductions obviously, but then what? I don't mean to ramble but it's nice to see that someone else actually likes this. I think you've given me a bit of hope that I was looking for, so thank you. This story is not dead and it will be told!

I'll go ahead and admit I never thought this would take off like it did, much less as fast. I think that was the problem though. Too much too fast. I have been working on it and redoing the other one a little at a time whenever I can though. I can't say when they'll be updated, but they will. And you can expect a lot after being quiet this long.

So, is no one gonna question the science? Fine. I will. Assuming the Earth and its moon is about the same size and distance as Equus and its moon, the distance is about 238900 miles, or 384472.282 kilometers. Also assuming that the speed of light is the same, also known as c or 2.99x10^8 m/s (186000 miles per second.) The formula for the amount of time it took for them to cross the distance is T(Time)=D(distance)/S(Speed). So, T=384472.282/2.99x10^8 gives us... 0.001285 seconds. So yes. Within an hour. Within a half hour. Within a quarter hour. Within a minute. Within a second. Within a millisecond. Even if we halved the speed of light by taking magic into account, we still get... 0.002564 seconds. Y'know, FTL travel is thrown around so casually nowadays, no one stops to consider the actual effect of it. To travel faster than light, you literally have to weigh almost nothing, or even have negative mass. And yet, here we are. Throwing FTL around like its the new fad. But please, don't take this as me criticising the story. Just the science and some of the principles that you called into question.
