Well... this is an unusual paring, and strange enough one of the ones that I like. If there is a mare that can knock some sense into Blueblood it's Applejack.

I really, really want for them to be happy—but I'm also frustrated with how the Canterlot crowd is always trotted out as somehow morally inferior to country folk. It's not on that level here yet, and the fact that the princesses are not amused at his behaviour is promising. I really hope it won't turn into a simple 'country-good, high-brow-bad' juxtaposition. Especially since Applejack is quite frankly pretty close-minded and stubborn herself.

5655444 Quite soon. Sorry for the wait. This is the longest I've gone between chapters for any story. I've just been trying to focus more on schoolwork and what-have-you. If the next chapter doesn't come by the first day of March, I'll eat my own tail.
Real life must come first. :) I'm not a nagger. It'll be great fun to read the new chapter, with Blueblood of all ponies in love with Applejack. LOL if he ended up bucking apples with her.

While this is a good fic, not sure how to feel about Fancy Pants being kind of a jerk. I mean, he seemed like a delightful fellow and one of the few actually nice rich folks I've seen in any animated media. So, yeah not a choice I'm actually for.
Otherwise it's good. {The romance did feel a little...rushed in the beginning but it's slowed down.}
Yeah, I kind of cringed at Applejack's joke too. I've never been a fan of crude humor.

This was a rather enjoyable story. Good use of the title: My Fair Mare, as opposed to My Fair Lady.
