Did the apocalypse happen? Or is Discord simply crazy? Good story, but I found it hard to follow; can you write a sequel with someone sane like Fluttershy talking about Discords situation?
Please include the source for the image, or credit the artist; it was an awesome image, and I see you took from it the concept of entropy vs Discord just as I did, but you need to give the artist credit.
Entropy and chaos are not the same thing, but they are related. I could see Discord embracing his own dissolution into disorder at the end of his existence, taking pleasure in turning into pure chaos even as it disintegrates him; seems like a happier way to go than to be full of pain and fear at the end. I'm not sure if that's what this is about, but the fact that he can't seem to finish any of his memories seems to indicate that his identity and self are dissolving, and he has regrets for what didn't happen in his life but he's not afraid of what's happening now.

4963733 As with most who've never studied physics, I doubt the author actually comprehends entropy, which is merely a measure of the unavailable energy in a closed thermodynamic system.
A universe in which entropy is the prevailing factor in determinism winds down into a Big Chill. However, this is not the same as turning into 'chaos'. Indeed, the final phase of such a universe is a highly uniform state of near-zero energy density.
Given that Discord and others have travelled between dimensions, Equestria isn't a closed system.
Also... SECRETS OF THE PUNIVERSE: "Crawling In My Skin" was actually inspired by a severe scabies mite infection. Which is why the wounds won't heal.
