I only seem like I am writing fast is because at the moment I am very inspired for this particular story. I have several others that have gone now 4-5 months without an update due to lack of inspiration

lol Don't worry I have never, with the exception of once, abandoned a story, and even then I found someone to adopt said story to continue it. Sometimes I lose inspiration and that happens, but don't worry I'll eventually get back to it

I'm certainly enjoying the series so far. Good job on keeping the threads whole while weaving them about each other.
I do have one suggestion for you. When you change perspective in a conersation, don't repeat what was already said. It throws everything off when you do. I understand you are trying to backfill the thoughts and emotions... just do it as part of the continuing flow.
