Yeah, I'd considered that that might confuse people. Just think of "Power Ponies", and the ending should be clearer (assuming, of course, that you've kept up with season four).
Come to think of it, anyone who hasn't seen season four would probably be confused by a lot of things in this story... oops.

"Rainbow Dash" was simply a character in the comic. It was really Scootaloo all along, just like the mane six played the role of the power ponies.
Sorry for the confusion, everyone. Clearly, I failed to explain things well. It's a reminder that I have a lot of room to improve as an author.

And the twist with Scootaloo at the end made perfect sense to me. Maybe I read it after a ninja edit making it clearer, but I had no issues there.

Yeah, I did a little tweaking to the final scene (as well as re-inserting the italics which I only recently discovered had been lost in the transfer to Fimfiction, which probably didn't help). In hindsight, I can understand why some people might have been confused.
As far as its reception is concerned, I knew going into it that this would probably be a niche story, so s'all good.

Wow, just, wow.
This was utterly fantastic!
Not only is it an enjoyable clop, but I had just as much fun with the adventure and comedic bits intertwined as well.
And the existential themes were done very well, blurring the lines between what might be, what is, and what never was. And thanks to the episode, either possibility is equally valid.
I'm impressed, and joyed to find a fic that works with what Daring Don't established, rather than screaming some nonsense about their headcanon being ruined.
One of the best fics I've read in some time, clop or otherwise.
I give it four hooves up.

Some of the descriptions felt more like you were describing anthro than actual ponies but other than that this was pretty good.

Can you remember any examples, just so I can keep an eye out? I know, for instance, that I sometimes use "arm" instead of "foreleg" (especially if it's being used more like an arm). Or was it something else?

There were a few things like when you had Daring stroking Dash's thighs and marehood while kissing her which wouldn't be possible while they're standing facing each other. There were a few others but I didn't really make it a point to remember them since they were messing with my mental picture at the time.

Well. I just got mind fucked. Good story but part of me is completely lost with the other side understanding everything that just happened.
Very rarely do I comment on here, but I really enjoyed this clopfic. I don't really review clop much, so I'll just leave it at that. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, although the ending did kind of confuse me, but only for 10 minutes at most. All and all, it was pretty damn good, and I'd give it a 9.69 out of 10, because I can sneak a 69 in there.

4367691 I think you explained it perfectly. I followed it just fine, then again i read a lot of stuff so it could be that.
But as soon as i started to read and you said that it felt unreal and that Rainbow was a Virgin at that point i knew that it had been a power ponies style comic.
Overall, good clop, and i hope you make a sequal.
