What came into my mind
I had an idea like this, but with Deoxys instead of Greninja.
Like, with Celestia obliterating him like Rayquaza obliterated the one Deoxys in the 7th movie. And then he comes back for payback.
Ill keep a tab on this to see where this leads to.
Interesting. I like the way you got him to equestria. Usually it's "X buys perfect prop needed for costume that some suspicious shop owner just happens to have." As someone who is eagerly waiting for Smash Bro's WiiU to come out, I can easily see why Issac wanted to play it. Plus, up until the bit with the monocle, I imagine the stand would have looked legit. Though the casual breaking of the forth wall is a little off putting. I've seen it done a few times in movies and literature when the character is commenting to or talking to the audience. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, just something that shouldn't occur too often. It also shouldn't be used as a way to move the plot along by instantly informing characters of things that they have no right knowing.
No costume. I approve! It's about time more stories went in that direction.
...Eh. I'll watch, but I'll not fave till you come up with a new movement/style/direction. This seems...cliché in the portent of LoHAV. The only real difference is a lack of cosplay...but your character still ends up in a different (fan) body in Equestria. You do realize there is already an Espurr fic, correct?

I don't see what's interesting about these fics.
Even if the character chosen was one that I was a fan of, it still wouldn't interest me, as it wouldn't even be the same character!
Instead, we have a random guy that has been given the same powers and looks, because of reasons.
Having to pick between the original character that every fan would want to read about, or a dude transformed into your favorite character...
... I just don't understand what's the appeal of the latter, except maybe for some people with weird fantasies.

4336566 Yeah, but the characters so often introduced in crossovers are crap. Their speech habits aren't accurate, their characterizations about as worthwhile to read as the contents on the back of a soda bottle, and overall most crossovers aren't interesting.
I found a nifty LoZ Twilight Princess crossover called 'Courage', but stories as good as that are rare. You have to be extremely careful when writing crossovers, after all.

Slightly Gary Stu-ish, but it's not that bad. Pacing's a bit fast, but at least it's not: This happened, then this happened. Oh look, next day and this happened as well.
Overall, I'm enjoying the story. Here's hoping you can continue this with possibly more frequent updates. Also, my guess is that you're going to wait until the actual Smash Bros game comes out before revealing his smash.

Hello, good sir! I, too, am a member of the LoHAV group, and also of the Pokémon variety! I specifically did Blazing Skies, featuring Geo, the Charizard! I find your usage of Greninja to be a unique choice, of which I heavily appreciate! Greninja was my brother's starter, and main in Sm4sh, and I haven't seen much representation of the guy lately. But seeing this makes me happy, knowing my brother's favorite is adored by other people, too.
