Also I remember you said that if Celestia turned evil, as solar flare it would be the same but with ever-lasting day. I think now however since she lost her power, she could be susceptible to transforming into something similar to NM with her losing her power and the toll of everything that has happen finally broke her? Maybe I'm just craving a Solar Flare catching Nightmare Moon or Despair off guard and duke it out. Bah.

Sorry man, but Solar Flare is not gonna happen. It would require of Celestia to still have power. But without alicorn magic, she is not much more than an average unicorn with wings.

- Clever use of codes. That will definitely come in handy when facing the skin-walkers in Equestria.
- Rarity's going to be worrying me with that cough. I have the feeling that Toxica's little "gift" might leave Rarity with two hooves in the grave at some point.
- A grey horn stained with blood? Can't be a good sign if Despair has a use for it.

I got all excited when I saw the update for this story! I must say it's really good, obviously AJ hit a nerve with Caramel on accident. I can't remember if this happened or not, but did one of the mane 6 say to a cultlist what would happen to them in the end and that one/ the group didn't care? I can't remember what it was.

Fleur De Lis aka. Black Widow told the heroines the cult's motives for supporting the demons in trying to bring down Celestia. Twilight refused her words and claimed that their knowledge of the past, accusing Celestia to be the origin of this war, were only lies.
Sry I took so long for this chapter and sry it turned out so short.

Hooray an update! So sad that it took a month to update again, but I shall not complain! This chapter was well written. It would be a wise choice to attempt to link the elements to the heart. Hm..it seems ironic that in coltholm, a black colt is there, and the fact nightmaremoon said to keep him alive, to turn him into a reaper. Either a reincarnation, or perhaps something to mess with fluttershy down the road, although I have forgotten if reapers age fast. Also the grey figure that Fluttershy can see, I wonder if it'll appear.
I also have a question, is Nightmare Moon merely in a different realm? A different plane? Her body was.."Destroyed" but I don't think that means she's incapable of returning, since she has a peice of herself in everypony. Probably something you can't reveal yet.
Oh and artifact is spelled wrong, it's not artefact, it's "Artifact" Just so you know! No big deal!
Thanks for the find. Anyway, the chapter stated that this was the past. Coltholm never was rebuilt and monochrome ponies still are extremely rare. This little black colt was EXACTLY the reaper out of the first book. That was Obsidian Shards.
It is hard to really pin what Nightmare Moon's status of existance really is. She only still exists as fragments in all ponies of equestria and in her children.

Now, I can be lucky if anyone even bothers to click the new chapters.
- Did I ever mention how thankful I am for Lady Truesight and her psychic abilites? Without her, we'd all be royally screwed.
- Linking the Elements to the crystal heart sounds like a very effective tactic.
- I'm starting to come up with the same theory as QuietBrush that the gray figure Fluttershy sees is a really a demon; then again every, time I've made a guess to what will happen, I get hit with a curveball.

It's a good thing Twi and the others made it safely to the mule republic. While the mules couldn't fight against the demons, they could easily fight with the cultist, which are just normal ponies, correct? I wonder if the Nightmare moon notices she has cultists. Also, don't get discouraged, I know I don't comment that much, but i am always looking forward for your stories!

Good to know. Anyway, you are kinda right with the cultists. They are ponies, but insane. They dont try to avoid Maledictum Insania, they dive right into it and learned how to control their insanity and use it as a weapon.
Also, Nightmare Moon of course knows about the cultists. She is inside every pony and watches every corner of the land through the eyes of her children. She is everpresent.
Good chapter showing how other nations may view what's going on in Equestira. The Devourer.... Well, I can only imagine Blue Blood has a good number of them and could easily destroy any nation very quickly if they declared war on him or declared the war himself. That really must leave any nations supporting the rebellion to only take on small roles. Otherwise, I could only imagine Blue Blood would just have the nations destroyed.
Nice chapter. Really cool hearing just how much potential Crystal Blossom has. I'm imagining Twilight is gonna have some "eureka" moment as she spends spare time learning/studying her new arcane magic abilities.

I am aiming for a universe that is as close to show-accurate as possible. I just sprinkle in themes that fit within the pony universe with a dark and wicked twist.

Guns and tanks exist in Equestria. Oh and can your demons possess vehicles? Look at WH40K for inspiration, especially the Chaos faction.

Your way of thinking is way off what the cartoon displays. In Equestria there are on guns and vehicles other than trains and cart variations. There also is only one canon and one tank and both are party items, not weapons. You may not see it like this, but mixing this all into MLP in combination with my material would not make a good story. If you want one with guns and vehicles, look for Fallout Equestria.
4866585 Demons and Cultists. The fights about the latter group are not as good as they just atttack, attack, attack and pretty much do the same thing. Give cultists weapons and reorganization:
Assassin Corps : Specializes in assassinating enemy leaders, sabotage and kidnapping
Siege Corps : Uses cannons to shell enemy fortification.
Steam Knight Corps : Wearing armor infused with dark magic, these shock troops lead the charge. These ponies are somehow able to kill reapers.
Do something like this and the cultists would actually pose a threat! Make chapters showing the new cultist and demon armies conquering neighboring nations!
Remember, bad guys find ways to improve their armies. Transforming the cult into an actual fighting force would add more flavour to your fight scenes!

No. I will not have modern warfare in my story and I will not add guns or mix modern weapons with magic. Anyway, you can not even begin to imagine what I have planned in the future. It is already clear that the demons will come to attack the crystal empire eventually. From my concepts, this is going to be a battle so large it will take over 4 chapters.

Oh yeah you already introduce technology into your story when you brought the Mule Republic into the alliance as scientists and engineers.
Is the Demon King too inept to upgrade the cult into an actual army? Hire mercenaries?

I never said I wouldnt go for medival weapons and I'll keep that in mind for sure. But you are asking for so many spoilers here and I already said more than I wanted to spoil.
But when it comes to his army, think about it. Blueblood has every last demon in the world under his command. They are stronger, faster and more powerful than any other creature and on top of that, immortal and invincible. What more can you ask for? Also, it is not like they are just a hand full.

Losing Crystal Blossom really does make it seem that much more impossible to win such a one sided war. I guess this story of MI is going to get so intense, even saying that it will be so tense is an understatement.

Poor Crystal Blossom, and I'm even more worried about what despair said at the end, Her soul wasn't reaped, nor did Crystal's cloak popped off, So Im guessing she has a plan now to use her. Perhaps a reverse Reaper? Grrr..in some odd way, I wish a demon of some sort would go on twilight and the rebellion's side, although I know that won't happen, even if it did, i'm pretty sure it'd get punish extremely fast anyways.
On another note, reading your writing makes me want to write again! It's that good! Grr..although my novel, it's not pony related at all.

I actually decided to use a Mirror Pool desktop background just several days ago.
To use the mirror pool is brilliant! It'd be really cool if some of the clones make their own name, or change themselves to look a little different, becoming a big character in the story! I've been waiting forever for the next chapter to this! Such a refreshing thing to read, since i've been in the hospital for 3 months, being treated with chemo and what not.
