... Except for ponies not believing alicorns exist, what makes this story worth it to read?

The story seems cut and and dull. We know what's going to happen, twilight is mocked for her belief, belief is real, belief alters story, twilight has happy ending.

I'd like to be proven wrong, I really would, but so far it's nothing special.
