Fleur de Lis and Fancy Pants didn't always have the glamorous magazine headline life that everypony now knows them as. Every famous star must begin somewhere, and a few years back, the two of them were nothing but amateur actors.
The debates were everywhere - was their love manufactured by the cameras or geniune in their true hearts?
Now that in itself is a story...
Basically my take on how Fleur and Fancy became a couple. I really like this ship, but they don't get enough love, so yeah.
Take note that this is just experimentation more or less.

I, too, would have simply called this "Romance" instead of shipping, but eh. I have the same debate over people with Mr and Mrs Cake and Shiny X Cadance.

Not bad. I still prefer my own version of how they met (not linking here because I don't advertise on other people's stories), but this works quite well IMO, though I would have loved to see just a bit further along in the story.
This was a very charming little slice-of-life. Sharply written, good dialogue, with a nice balance of fluffy awkwardness without eliciting entertainment at the characters' expense. Quite nicely done.
For the record...
- When Fancypants admits to "not" getting to that certain part in his script - in reality that can't be said if he was in a real full on professional motion picture. The cast of any movie does a full read through of the script. Sorry, I just know these things as an actor.
Getting back to the reality of this being fanfiction...
I really liked this story. I don't often see much of Fleur and Fancypants. I always liked them being a pair. The fact that you made them actors made me love them all the more.
Good job. You can expect a favorite from me.
