Vel'Koz is a Void resident, born and raised, killing to learn, and learning, by such, to kill. Vel'Koz is on a quest to learn all there is to know about the universe, including the many worlds that inhabit its many reaches. Now, he has set his sight on one planet in particular, one whose sun and moon rotate it, Equiis.
A rift to the Void opens in Twilight's basement during 'Twilight Time', startling everypony in attendance. Twilight may finally have a study partner, but his methods are unorthodox.
And rather messy.
But Twilight will have to learn to get along with a being who incinerates his friends to discern their favorite muffin flavor if she has any hope of being a true Princess of Friendship.
Vel'koz has seen the ultimate technicolor knowledge...and he must have it.
It just outright murdered Derpy, and they treat it with curiosity and friendship?
Sweetie Belle gets upset when it kills a bluebird, but she's perfectly fine with it killing a pony?

Uhm...I feel the need to direct your attention to the Random tag, as its definition is by far, this fic. Something is intrinsically not right, but everypony goes along with it. Im sorry if you don't like the course of it, but for a being who "kills to learn and learns to kill" i think death was an obvious outcome. its dark comedy or something. deal with it.

League of Legends. The game that Vel' Koz is from. There's a monster you fight that's a dragon. The map is called Summoner's Rift. So, Spike's 'mom' is the dragon from the Rift.
Besides, I've yet to play Skyrim.

A fair assumption, considering I haven't played League in a couple years and writing has been tough, what with the whole getting a full time job and not watching season six onward. :V
I wish I could do something for my fans again but it's been tough to find inspiration and time. If you liked this story, I suggest my one shot Twilight Learns To Ward. It's a quick little comedy based on the ward items in League. :)
