Prison is no place for a pony like Twilight Sparkle, but after being convicted of murder, she's sent to live in one for the rest of her natural life. put simply dude, you are mostly jsut copying the story rather than adapting it. literally it feels like you copy and pasted twilight sparkle's face over the shawshank character.

Did you really feel the need to post a second poorly worded, literary mess of a comment? How much did you read? Maybe two paragraphs? Twilight and Andy, or as you call him, "the sawshank character", have similar personality types, which is why I chose her for the role. The dialog is similar in parts, yes, but only for the prosecutor. Did you actually bring up a torrent of the movie to see if they synced up? I assure you, this passed moderation because it wasn't a cut/paste story.
And it's alternate universe. There are guns because maybe earth ponies or bored unicorns invented them. Quite possibly, Twilight felt it more befitting to use a firearm rather than magic because the message it would send while she pointed it at Flash.

4070716 That's a good habit that more people on this site should get into. Personally though, if I dislike a story, I stop reading and forget about it. No dislike left, at most a comment on how they could better the story, at least... absolutely nothing. But that's just me.

Interesting. I'd like to see how you play this out. I had a similar idea, but this pretty much sums mine up so , I'm not gonna worry about it anymore. One more story I can cross out. But this one is good. You should also read the short story found in "Different Seasons".
