Octavia begins to question her purpose as a musician and what playing her cello means to her.
This is my first "complete" fanfic. I had tried to write a few in the past, but couldn't keep up enough enthusiasm to get very far before I scrapped them. I have very little experience with writing, but I wanted to give it a shot. I decided to try and write something short, to see if I could actually get myself to finish something.
Hopefully somepony out there enjoys it on some level. I appreciate any advice, and hopefully I'll be able to integrate it into future works if I can overcome my laziness and procrastination. I've decided to reformat this and turn it into a one-shot story, which is what it was originally conceived as. Thanks for reading.

I like it so far. It gas a nice ambient writing style that replicates what I believe you wanted Octavia to feel.
As it went on I couldn't help but feel it begin to become shallow. The chapers seemed almost rushed, with many plotholes that distracted from the story. However, I still liked it and hope that if you ever write more that you will improve.
Unfortunately, changing the story into a one shot deleted the comments made on other chapters. Woops!
Anyways, I agree with the pacing issue. This story was a struggle for me personally, as I had never actually "completed" a story before. In an effort to finish it, I rushed the story. I will most likely go back and rewrite this story sometime in the near future. Thank you for the input.
