This story is a sequel to Love Is Patient
Luna's daughter, Princess Nidra, was once rivals with the adopted daughter of Fluttershy, Anthea, for Turquoise the dragon-pony's heart. Since then, Anthea and Turquoise have married, Nidra has learned to accept her loss, and the two mares have become fast friends. However, when an aged and ailing Anthea calls her friend in for one final request, will Nidra, at long last, be able to honor it?

Kilala would be very proud of you, dude. You did her brilliant characters justice.
So, I read this in the morning, but didn't have time to comment until now. Absolutely stunning, in every way. The story has a typical path, but that winds up being a move in its favor, as the characters are anything but typical. You take the quiet, demure and soft-spoken pony we thought we knew, and turned her into a very different character. Similarly, you had another character who was flawed from the start, and her personality from the first story was visible here.
And in many ways, her flawed personality from the prequel makes her presence here so much stronger. She's still spoiled, entitled, and angry. She doesn't handle not getting what she wants well at all. Through the story we can see her growth, and that she eventually considers Annie such a friend that she sacrifices her own happiness to keep hers. She's so afraid of losing her that she unknowingly puts her in pain to keep from experiencing the loss. It's such a powerful story, about growth and adaptation.

This story, the feels, this was worth the wait and you managed to incorporate some Kilala's past works into the story I enjoyed the little references you put in the only problem I found was that when you jumped from one scene to a flashback it was a bit hard to keep up and find out where this was all going, but that was just nit picking. The tone was perfect for each scene and by the way, I was getting a bit of an Old Yeller vibe from the last scene in the hospital, and it was done beautifully. As a whole this was a good story the feels are deserved while to me the pacing was a little too quick in a few places, example: one second we're in the hospital and the next we're raiding dungeons in the wilderness; but I enjoyed how you got every scene to play a role. Keep on writing my good sir, you certainly have the talent!

Don't know yet. Kilala's doing a contest thing where other people can draw and create a bio for their and Illusion and Claire's children. I submitted this for the contest, which includes two dragon-ponies named Kunzite and Mint Julep as T and Annie's kids. However, there are several other entries. Basically, you can feel free to choose which ones you'd prefer to be there.

It's really more of a Nidranthea friendfic, though it does deal with Annie trying to convince Nidra to take care of Turquoise after she dies. Tidra doesn't even actually happen in this fic.
