Many noticeable typos and grammatical errors. I only noticed a few that were painfully obvious, mostly usage of they're/their/there.
"If ever their was a more blessed hive of love and civility..." should be there
Letting out a soft chuck should be chuckle.
"But if your not in danger" should be you're
"I did what any rule would do" should be ruler
"So your telling us that an alien" should be you're
Otherwise, it's interesting. Can't wait to see what happens next!
