Michael

Celestia was nearly rearing with happiness. Finally after so many years and months of planning she would achieve it! She would invade Earth and convert those disgusting apes into mindless newfoals. She would rule an entire planet and gain nearly seven billion ponies who would follow her every command, no one would be able to oppose her! She is God! She actually wanted to cackle to herself. The first thing she had done was steal her Sister's inheritance, by carefully manipulating public opinion. Her sister found out about her feint and waged a war against her. However Celestia was a much better public speaker and more manipulative than her sister.

She had dubbed Luna as "Nightmare Moon" and using the Elements of Harmony to banish her had actually been quite simple. She had been corrupting the magic since her Father's death. That had been nearly two hundred years before. However in that blast of magic, she also wiped Luna's memories and replaced them with fabricated ones to make her think and act like Nightmare Moon. Then simply a thousand years later, she allowed the Elements to purge the fake memories while also turning Luna younger, and thinking she was to blame for Nightmare Moon. The threat that never existed.

Celestia was crafting the final piece of the barrier, while the Element bearers themselves were figuring out the last bit of the spell. How had she managed to get them to agree? With some subtle, but heavy mind control, and her manipulative nature. Celestia finished crafting the barrier. She began to walk back to the room that contained the bearers and the seal to move Equestria. She had found Earth nearly three hundred years ago. She saw their destructive capabilities and craved them. But she was disgusted by the apes so she devised a plan. The "Humans" had a history of rebelling against what they considered tyrants. It also didn't help that they were predators. So they didn't have as strong of a herd instinct as ponies did, simply being her would not work. They valued personal freedom over safety.

So she made the potion, it would bring their already low brain power even lower. She would be able to control them effortlessly. And the barrier was insurance. All she would have to do is steadily increase the barrier and the apes would convert, believing that they would remain the same. She reached the spell room and walked in. Twilight was the first one to greet her.

"Princess, can we finally help those poor apes that don't understand friendship?" Twilight asked.
"Certainly, we mustn't wait a minute longer!" Celestia responded.
"I just don't understand how someponies could battle like that." Fluttershy put into the conversation.
"Well, I for one think that they need to stop lieing so much!" Applejack contributed.
"I find it amazing that they wear clothes all the time, but their bodies are so disgusting." Rarity stated.
"Why can't they just have fun?!" Pinkie yelled.
"Why are they so uncool?" Rainbow Dash asked.

Celestia inwardly grinned at how stupid these ponies were. This plan was almost too easy. But there was somepony missing.

"However, it appears that we will have to hold off on our rescue mission. As Luna isn't…"

Celestia was cut off as Luna walked into the room. Celestia gave her a smile. For some reason, Luna wanted to shiver and possibly vomit at this smile.

"Are you ready to help a poor species that doesn't know the magic of friendship, Luna?"

Luna merely nodded. In all honesty, she didn't think this was such a good idea. Messing with another Universe's people didn't sit well with her. Celestia said that the apes didn't have immortal rulers, and their planet had no magic on it. Perhaps their rulers just didn't show themselves. Celestia, after all, said that they had religions. The majority of which involved a being that created everything. The planet, the animals, the apes themselves. Perhaps this was their immortal ruler, but he merely allowed the apes to deal with their problems themselves. "God" was his name, if she remembered correctly. He had another species called "Angels" that acted as his messengers. He had more powerful Angels called "Archangels" battle a fallen angel called "Lucifer" who was also known as "Satan". The Archangel "Michael", if she remembered correctly, battled Satan and cast him into the deepest pits of "Hell". Luna assumed Hell was their equivalent of Tartarus.

If all of this was true, a being who could create entire worlds, Luna worried for Equestria's safety.

"Let us begin the spell then." Celestia proclaimed.

They made a circle, four feet in between each of them. Celestia began the spell. Luna began casting, as well as Twilight, leading the Bearers. Soon, they all of them were putting all of their energy into the spell. Outside of the castle, a pillar of pure white magic was shooting up from the castle. Inside of the castle, the ponies were struggling to maintain the spell. However, in the middle of the spell, it suddenly cut off. The castle began trembling, with anything loose shaking and falling down. After the castle regained stability, everypony in the room looked at each other questioningly.

However, their recovery was cut short as a royal guard stallion ran into the room gasping for breath.

"Your Highness," He stopped to gulp down some air. "Your Highness, there is a Human in the Royal Throne Room demanding to speak to you!"

(-)

As Celestia and Luna entered the throne room, with the bearers trailing behind them. Celestia saw… it. The Human. He was tall, even for Human standards. Standing at about 9 feet, the man was a giant. He absolutely towered over Celestia's 4'10. And the guards, laughably, barely came up to his knees. And yet despite that, he was well proportioned. His legs weren't overly long compared to his chest, and his arms weren't overly long compared to his legs or his chest. His muscle to fat ratio also seemed to fit. His hair was black, and his eyes were green. His skin was tanned. His clothing was a pair of jeans, with a leather belt. Along with a pair of tennis shoes, and a hoodie. Despite his gigantism, his clothing seemed to fit him perfectly. Celestia, from the Humans she had observed, assumed the man to atleast be in his early twenties.

Celestia was about to demand to know why he was here, but he spoke before her.

"I care not for your questions, I came here to deliver a warning. And, if you so will it, a Judgement." The mysterious Human spoke.

Celestia was shocked. In Equestria, speaking before someone of importance showed that you did recognize their authority. And the guards reacted to this disrespect. The captain, Kite Wind, rushed forward to the man and leveled his spear. Which barely came up to the abdomen of the man. The man, however, didn't react at all.

"How dare you insult the Princess like that! You stupid monkey!" The Captain yelled in anger. The man merely shifted his gaze down to the pony that was holding a very sharp spear to his abdomen, and spoke.

"It would do you well, guard, to remove your spear from my chest." The man calmly stated. The Captain, becoming angered by the man's reaction, moved to stab him. However a shout from Celestia stopped him.

"I wish to know his warning." Celestia told the Captain, who immediately backed off. And the man spoke.

"My Father has told me to deliver this warning. Stop what you are attempting to do. If you refuse his will, the punishment will be harsh." The man stated. This angered Celestia, who then asked.

"Who is your Father?"
"My Father is."
"THAT ANSWERS NOTHING!"
"It answers your question."

Luna actually admired this man. Not many ponies could withstand her use of the Royal Canterlot Voice, and yet this man had just kept his calm when Celestia, who's voice was about twice as powerful, had used it. The man turned to Luna.

"Do you not remember?" He asked. For some odd reason, this simple question gave her shivers. However, Celestia's eyes widened in surprise and worry. How did this stupid ape know of her trickery. She acted quickly.

"Guards, kill him!" She yelled. Kite Wind, looking for his revenge for his believed humiliation, rushed forward and speared the human in the lung. Celestia smiled. The Human would not survive long, not with a punctured lung. But what happened next, scared her.

The man, having not moved even when his lung was punctured, gripped the spear and pulled it out. He never screamed, or grunted in pain. He just nonchalantly pulled a spear out of his lung and threw it away as though it was nothing.

Everypony in the room backed away. Afraid of this new development. The man looked to Luna and spoke.

"You shall see what really happened to your Father."

What happened next caused Luna great pain. She fell to her side, trying to grip her head with her hooves.

1200 years ago.

Luna was in a room. The room itself was large, with the curtains drawn. A small sliver of light was flowing in, and the only other source of light was a few candles scattered around the room. In the middle of the large room, lay a large bed. Luna's heart instantly stopped. That was her Father's bed. And to the right of it was Celestia. Luna walked forward, and figured out when this was.

"This was the day Father died!" She thought to to herself.

Her Father, Solar Flare, King and Raiser of the sun. He had developed an infection that ended up killing him.

She walked right up to the side of the bed. Opposite to the side that Celestia was on. After a few seconds, they began speaking.

"Celestia,*coughcough*, come close my child." King Solar Flare said. Celestia leaned in closer. Luna, at this time, noticed that there were no servants on the room. Solar Flare spoke. "Celestia, *coughcough*, I need to tell you who will inherit main regent, should I die. I wish Luna to take main regent."

Celestia looked shocked. "But Father, Luna is too young!"

"I belie*coughcough*, believe Luna to be old enough to take the throne." Celestia could see that there was no talking her Father out of this.

"I'm sorry, Father." Celestia said. As she raised a pillow in her TK.
"Whahmmm." Luna, wanted to vomit at this sight. But her mind rushed back to her. She killed him! Celestia killed her Father!

Present

Luna shot up, now in what most ponies consider her Nightmare Moon form.

"YOU CONNIVING MANIPULATIVE LITTLE BITCH!" Luna, now using her RCV, shouted. Everypony in the room, excluding the man, looked shock at Luna's use of a curse.

"YOU KILLED HIM! YOU KILLED MY FATHER TO USURP MY THRONE! I WAS NEVER NIGHTMARE MOON, SHE WAS AN ENTITY YOU MADE UP TO COVER YOUR TRACKS! YOU SAID HE DELEGATED HIS POSITION TO YOU, BUT I FOUND OUT! AND I WAGED WAR AGAINST YOU!" Luna shouted in anger at Celestia.

" I did it because Fath…"
"DON'T YOU DARE CALL HIM THAT! HE IS NOT YOUR FATHER, HE WAS MINE AND YOU TOOK HIM AWAY!" Luna practically had tears streaming down her face now.

The Element Bearers, still in their hypnosis, charged up an attack at the man. The man saw them coming, but did not attempt to move. The blast from the Elements of Harmony struck him and cause a massive screen of smoke to appear, and Celestia smiled. Now she could deal with Luna easily. However as the smoke cleared, the man was still standing there. Having never moved, his clothes unaffected. Even the hole in his hoodie, where the spear had pierced his lung, was gone. He looked to the Element bearers and spoke.

"Now you all will see Celestia's treachery." With that, all six bearers collapsed, and came up a few seconds later, their faces contorted in anger. They had been tricked and controlled. Luna moved to attack Celestia, who also had a face of anger, until the man spoke.

"Luna, do not attack her. My Father has passed his judgement." Luna stopped and listened. The man looked to Celestia, the instant his eyes laid on her, her right front leg snapped, causing Celestia to fall in pain. The man spoke.

"For your refusal to follow my Father's will, he has passed Judgement upon you. Celestia, you are a serpent, and therefore you shall be revealed as the serpent you truly are!"

Celestia was in unfathomable pain now, her entire body felt like it was changing. Her right wing snapped. The man continued speaking. "You shall crawl on your belly,"

Celestia was now a snake, an albino easter diamondback rattlesnake with purple eyes. She began slithering towards the man, with all the ponies clambering to get away from their once princess.

"You shall strike at the heel of Man, and Man shall crush your head with their heels," Celestia continued on.

"Cattle and horses shall crush you underhoof, eagles shall snatch you up in their talons and disembowel you, badgers will snap your spine and skin you," Celestia was so close now. The man turned around. The first time he had moved, asides from pulling out the spear, since being the throne room.

"You shall strike at women's children, and they shall cut off your head with hoes, Man will strike you on sight, and through this all you will be reborn each time you die. Your memories still intact, but in a different body. No animal shall consume your flesh, the scavengers will stay away, and even the insects shall avoid you. Ants will cut a swath around you, and flies will not land on you. The ground shall refuse to accept your body, and life will not grow with it. Only the weather will touch it."

Celestia was at the man's heel now, and was rearing back to bite his ankle. Until the man raised his shoed heel and brought it down upon her head, crushing it and continuing.

"And through this all, you will have an insatiable hunger, no matter how many animals you eat. You shall never sleep, and you shall never close your eyes." With the Judgement finished, the man dragged the heel of his foot to the right, scattering what remained of Celestia's skull. All of the guards remained frozen in fear. Until Luna spoke up.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Get that disgusting thing," she pointed at the dead snake. "Out of here."

The man began walking, before stopping and turning to Luna.

"You are now on Earth, Luna, you came here with peaceful intentions. Nothing more, nothing less." The man began walking again, until Luna called to him. He turned to face her.

"What will happen now?" She asked.
"Ponykind and Humanity shall join and create a beautiful civilization. There will be Pony deaths and Human deaths in the beginning, but you both shall sore into a golden age." With that the man began to leave again. Until Luna shouted for him to wait again. He turned around to face her.

"Yes?" He patiently asked.
"What is your name?" Luna asked.
"My name is both irrelevant and inconsequential." The Human turned to leave. Luna looking slightly downtrodden at not knowing who this mysterious human was.

However, before reaching the throne room doors, he stopped and looked back at Luna. Luna looked up and listened. He spoke.

"However, if you must know, my name is Michael." And with those words, the Human vanished into thin air. Leaving a behind an Alicorn that was staring in shock at the spot the Human had just been at.

A.) Maybe.
B.) Are you a guy?
C.) May I ask what you like about it?

3837175 Bro, I'm a guy, and dude. I'm agnostic. You portrayed the bringer of death very well. You didn't make him have massive terrifying wings. He was blunt and to the point. For that, I commend you.

3837183

Well, thank you very much. I wanted to make it obvious he wasn't human (hence being nine feet), but make him resemble a human.

3837189 No problem. Props to you.

3837216

Thank you very much. May I ask what you like about it?

3837221 Though the story was kinda, meh, I just how much of a badass Michael can be without actually fighting. Which in my opinion is more awesome than characters with huge guns who for some reason can't fight worth shit, eh. I like a character who also curb stomps Tyrant Celestia, quite literally too, eh.

3837247

Well, he is supposed to be an angel, so. Its kind of a given.

But, still, thank you very much.

What'd you think of his monologue?

3837252 Well, at first he was straight to the point to where the Guards thought he insulted the Princess, which in terms of culture or tradition it may as well be. Which I thought was good. Tyrant Celestia needs to be insulted or otherwise it wouldn't be awesome, eh. And he was pretty calm telling his warning even though he was stabbed which would have made anyone except for RAMBO cry in pain, eh.

But when he got to the whole snake part I thought that where it really got awesome! The thought of living again even after death is cruel which is a good punishment for evil beings such as Tyrant Celestia.

3837278

I actually got the idea for the snake from "Genesis", where Lucifer is turned into the snake we know today.

3837282 Yeah, I'm not into reading things related to any sort of religion, but I'm open minded to them, eh. So unless I do some research I wouldn't know any about Lucifer or the Archangels, eh.

Nevertheless I enjoyed reading this, eh.

Excellent! I was rather impresses with the "Judgement" scene. Oh Xelly got what she deserved this time!:trollestia:

Ohh, me likes. :rainbowkiss:
My story also has Michael in it, but much more... action-y. :twilightblush:

Humans are Superior Bitches!!!

Huzzah. I still wanted the Elements to die, but crushing Celestia more than makes up for it.

3837638

So, that was your favorite part?

3837639 I'd actually have to say the part when the Elements and Luna turn against her is.

3837647

Aahh, okay. Well glad to know that you like the story.

3837639

The Judgement scene, obviously.

DISCLAIMER: I have read (at least) one decent ACB style fic once, and so in my endless optimism I decided to give this one a chance (being a short one-shot helped).

This is ridiculously bad. Some reasons off the top of my head (some spoilers!):

- it's formatted badly (the dialogue)
- misspellings (especially in the author's notes)
- scattered errors in punctuation
- clumsy writing
- Celestia is only 4 ft 10
- Celestia murders her dad with a pillow
- Michael struts about in the throne room like an idiot (takes two steps, stops, takes another two, stops again)
- everything that "happened 1200 years ago"
- zero characterization except for Michael (he's a tool), Celestia is OOC to such absurd lengths that justifying any of it would take a minimum of thousand extra words
- CAPS LOCK, using the Royal Canterlot Voice as some special power/gimmick, abbreviating it to RCV
- Luna is an exposition mare
- Luna has the idea that religions = God, Angels, Lucifer, Satan, which effectively means she didn't even read the Wikipedia page
- Michael predicts the future
- wank (oh that 9 ft angel in his tennis shoes and hoodie)
- the dialogue is so bad I think it might be intentional
- atrocious dialogue tags
- story name: Michael, chapter name: Michael, first line: Michael

Just a few... Anyway, on a personal note I think the message and theme of the story is handled unsubtly and gracelessly here.

However, as I always say: you can't fault a story for what it does right. In this case it's Michael's speech, which is kinda cool if you're into that sort of thing.

I feel it's a bit rushed. I think it's because this skips the build up and goes straight for the climax. Then again, maybe it's just me.

Great fic, really cathartic. Also, I couldn't help but imagine Michael as Lord Genome. At least his voice anyway.

3837278
I agree, I also find it rather fitting that, after what she had planned, that she's forever trapped in a form not her own. I've seen that in another fic that turned her into an immortal, powerless human with her name marked on her forehead for all to see. Though I think I liked this one better.

3838476

Well thank you for the compliment. I know what fic you are talking about as well. It is also kind of ironic about what happened here.

3838872
Yeah, a being claiming to be all powerful being cast down into the form of treachery itself? A fitting punishment.

3838099 Ikr, Celestia is clearly 4 ft ten and a half. Get it right KaBar41

3838945

Kind'a what I was going for.

3839192
Good luck on future stories.

3839228

Thank you very much.

While not religious myself, I find this to be a very good story. Thanks for writing

3839524

Thank you for the compliment. I'm glad you enjoyed it. May I ask what your favorite part was?

3839539 Well, I liked your subtle approach of rendering the humans immune to whatever magical effects Celestia was trying to employ. "Oh, yes, a world with no magic should be affected by magic!" There aren't enough face-hoofs right now! :facehoof::facehoof::facehoof: :twilightsheepish: Hope to see more of your stories around!

3839582

That was subtle?

Well, still, thank you very much.

And I will have more stories.

3839698 Well, I didn't really know if you were implying that humans were immune to magic because magic didn't exist on that plane or that the equine's could bring their own magic over, so I took it as the former. Subtle, not really the correct word; a better one might be irrelevant irrelevant, since it was a small little thing that wouldn't really be worth explaining considering the conclusion. It could have gone either way really, I just brought it up since I'm bored and being nit-picky. Sorry

3839912

Well in my headcanon, magic doesn't exist outside if the barrier. But Celestia can manipulate the ponies so easily because they have a herd instinct. Humans… not so much.

You need to make one where Lucifer does the deed. I mean even the lord of hell has standards.

3840001

You just gave me a brilliant idea!

3840022 No problem! How about calling it "The lesser of two evils." ?

Downvoted for being a Mary Sue Deus Ex Machina (literally) "Humanity gets revenge" story. Next time you want Archangel Micheal to deus ex it up with extremely blunt biblical allegory, have Celestia turn into a dragon. Then you can make it compliant with Revelation 12.

3842477

This you and I.

Do not enjoy eachother.

Everything is overrated.

Everything has and or will be done be before.

This logic is just not pointless but inlogical.

There one of milllions of universe of thing happens.

do you really think any idea is original at all.

Archangel Michael passing down god's judgement onto Celestia and freeing the others from the lies of the devil incarnate.

that's basically a great of summarizing this

great job btw

3852982

Thank you very much.

Well this stroked my human ego and pride quite a bit and Micheal was a badass

I expect nothing less from the Mike Man.

I would have had Celestia succeed in biting Michael, only to discover she has no fangs.

i wanted to like this but it was just to heavy handed on the xenolestia stuff and you just told us her schemes straight out of the gate. i would have rather come to it gradually as michael revealed shit to luna. honestly this was boring.
