It was supposed to be Octavia’s first big moment in her beginning career. To her dismay a unicorn named Vinyl Scratch stole her spotlight and left an impression on the cellist she would so soon not forget.
This is my take on how two of my favorite ponies met and the stages they went through.
This story takes place about 2 years before Nightmare Moon returns, so you will not see any of the main characters here. If you are here for some Scootaloo & Rainbow Dash, I am sorry to disappoint you.
But please….stay a while and listen….err read.
Rated Teen for some slightly darker scenarios in later chapters and some crude attempted humor.

well this is a rather nice story it's well written, has frequent updates, and an excellent premise.
The only point i find strange is one of character development in regards to vinyls living conditions, vinyl has spent several months living with octavia, she has received several gifts, a roof over her head, free food, and up until very recently did next to nothing on a day to day basis. Now i know she was in recovery but to receive such charity and offer so little back should cause vinyl at least a little strife, i know i certainly would be stressing over how to repay all of that kindness.
other than that single point i love the story, I'm surprised you don't have more followers or comments on it given how well it comes off.

As for more comments, views, likes or followers....well I don't write with those things as my motivation. Sure it's nice to have people appreciate the things my mind comes up with and I really am always happy for every comment. But I really mainly write for the sake of writing and bringing the stories I have thought up about colorful ponies to paper.....or in this case to screen.

Real life took over and left me no room for anything pony-related or even just internet-related.
Now things are a little better and I hope to get a chapter out once a week.
I might post a blog later to explain a bit more.

This was an amazing chapter. Can't wait for the next one...though for some reason I'm picturing a tombstone with an epitaph that begins with "Here lies Neon Lights" in the near future...
