3331168 I hope I'm wrong when I say this, but I believe Megan McCarthy tweeted that she was only for EQG. I do wish she had some sort of redemption with Celestia. Her comic from SDCC was pretty cool.

Although there isn't much in the way of a coherent story, and I'd need a bit more explanation on account of having not seen EG, it's a good concept for an abstract state of being. Since this is supposed to be mind trap, it works half-way well as it isn't known until the very end. Also, has perfect spelling and grammar. I liked it.

3331358 Sunset Shimmer is the main antagonist in Equestria Girls. Basically she steals the element of Magic and runs off into the human world. Twilight stops her with the power for friendship and stuff.

As to the whole 'her mother' thing, that was something I made on a whim. The reason the word deserve comes up so much, is because I noticed she said it a lot in the SDCC comic "The fall of Sunset Shimmer."

There is the danger that she could take the same word "deserve" and push it in the opposite direction. She could be so focused on whatever punishments she feels she deserves that she would ignore how much it hurts those who care about her.
