Royal Promise

Luna has been excited to finally traverse her dreamscape after a thousand years. It had taken awhile for Equestria to get used to her, believing her to be some sort of strange ghost haunting their dreams. Eventually she convinced them otherwise, and Luna was happy to reunite with the collective unconscious.

One night, a certain mare had her attention, and she decided to follow her curiosity...

Wait, if Luna has such fondness for dreams, why would she go all Wicked Mare of Darkness way back when in response to ponies sleeping at night? I'm wondering if it was just a general lack of appreciation or if she was feared/shunned like she were the equivalent of Freddy Krueger back then...

3394485 My idea was that she was caring less and less about the dreams as her contempt grew, focused more on her envy. One of those "Don't know what you have until it's gone" kinda things.
