Nightmare Moon have somehow returned to Equestria. Disguised as Luna she has successfully managed to steal Celestia’s divine power and at the same time successfully trapped her in the body of a foal.
With her newfound powers, she is ready to cast Equestria in eternal night and this time she’s not alone. By sacrificing the living she is able to raise the dead from their slumber. As the fated day slowly creeps upon them.
It’s up to Twilight and her friends to stop the wicked queen and her newfound allies.

3372421 If you're referring to the spell that Twilight used, that spell only worked because Twilight had shared in those experiences with her friends. The only one who would be able to use that spell on Celestia would be Luna, and even then, with the thousand years they spent apart, that would leave a huge gap in Celestia's memory...
