Squidward quits his job at the Krusty Krab after being accused of stealing Mr. Krabs' first dime. As time passes by, Squidward becomes homeless, but Spike allows him to live with him and Twilight. But when Squidward starts to become spoiled, Twilight is starting to lose her patience on how he treats her and Spike.

this is basically plagiarism, you copied the episode word for word, the only change being that you put Twilight and Spike in it. other than that nothing is changed.
3187275 I actually went back and watched the episode. He's right. There's really nothing original about this. Consider this if you write another Fanficton. Though it did give me a big smack of nostalgia and it was a pretty funny concept-

I'm downvoting this purely on the fact that it contains Spongebob. Just thought that I should share that with you at least since it isn't based on anything but that and it's not biased against your writing.
I'm upvoting this because it was funny, used the characters pretty well, and is great for a beginning fanfiction. Some people tend to forget that we all start somewhere, and most fanfiction is written not to be a great work of art, but to be enjoyable for both the writer and reader. I loved Spongebob Squarepants' cartoons.
Your grammar does need a bit of work, but after you've picked through it a little better, I think this story could easily sit in the Good Grammar Directory. Above all, I can tell you enjoyed writing this and put in honest effort. That's where every beginning writer should start. Use this as a base to continue your journey, since writing develops skills that will help you in almost every avenue of your life!
The biggest plus about this story? Custom cover art. No matter how crude, that shows how much attention you are paying to the small details.
Give the grammar another once-over, (hint, check the last sentence of the first paragraph for a missing word!) and you'll have a fine little story, regardless of what the haters think.
Oh, and as for the biggest "complaint", that this largely copies off the source Spongebob episode... this is fanfiction written by someone trying to improve their skills. Not a certain bestselling series of softcore erotica that began its life as "fanfiction" of a certain series about sparkly vampires. We all learn to walk with baby steps before we can run marathons.

Well now, I never really thought my series would inspire anything. Quite frankly I find this writing of "Can You Spare a Dime" to be pretty awesome if I do say so myself. Thanks for the soft shout out and I hope to see you adapt more episodes. I'll be sure to do the same myself. Keep on keepin' on.
