I really should put something down here someday...

T

Just a story about two background humans eating cookies...or is it?

After watching "Equestria Girls", I found a ton of material to use for a "third installment" in the "Two Background Ponies" saga. So much I almost couldn't fit it in. Naturally, if you haven't read "Two Background Ponies Eating Cookies" or "Two Background Ponies At A Donut Shop", the whole concept would probably be a mystery to you, so read those first. Again, I'd ideally like to see this on stage...but this one would require another big cast. Less props, though, considering its humans this time.

Oh, Q, you card, you. But did you really have to bring your nephew and niece?

Just read the whole "Two Background Ponies" trilogy, and I loved all of them. Incarlsistency may be one of the better original characters I've seen come out of this site. Thank you for these.

All my yes! I love these guys!

Yeah...Discord already had a humanized version. :derpytongue2:

"Damnit...who invited those three again?!"

:rainbowlaugh: Oh dear lord, my sides...!

Obviously the ... popularity...crusaders....invited ... oh I don't know.

You fool!
Human Pinkie Pie said Human Twilight Sparkle along with her dog Spike lived in a different city because Pony Twilight and Dragon Spike initially lived in a different city from the others as well.

The part with Celestia doing a Independence day speech for every little thing was the best!

Thanks for the comment!

I know I'm most likely going to end up seeing "Rainbow Rocks" even if I hate the spin-off franchise. (I won't watch it if they ever expand it into a stand-alone series, but so long as there's just periodic movies...they're good "Everything Wrong With" fodder.) So I'm figuring I could take a whack at another installment of "Two Background Humans". But then again...this entry was the least popular by far out of the series.

Also still wondering whether or not I should try and have them "do Season Five" like I did Season Four (which was kind of hit-and-miss in terms of jokes I could think up...), or if I should just "save all the good stuff" for "Two Background Ponies Having Pie".

5136585 Rainbow Rocks was actually pretty good. If the first EQG was like a dip in hot acid, Rainbow Rocks is like a good beating with just minor case of major brain damage. Oh please do season five! Jokes are always hit or miss when you've got such a large crowd reading your work, but my favorite of yours was the "Go on an Adventure" series. I couldn't stop laughing until that very last sentence.

I did finally see "Rainbow Rocks" yesterday. Didn't get to see the end credits on TV which is a shame because those actually featured more than humanized Derpy... And if you see my blog you know I made fun quite a bit because it was just so easy to do so. (No wonder they only mention the names of the villains once when their names can effectively be Generic-Bitch, Generic-Bitch Jr., and Generic Dumbass... Not to mention the over-elaborate plan just to get them stuck under the stage and fighting at the point when the concert broke out... And the plot device that was so integral to the timing of the first movie is now undone in about 12 seconds of screen time by "magic science"...)

But...honestly, I liked it too. Whereas "Equestria Girls" was "decent", I actually recommend the second movie (a little). Like I said in my blog, not since Wolverine has a single character managed to pretty much steal the entire plot from a group of characters, and it wasn't even one of the Mane Six this time, but...I actually thought the scenes that Twilight and Sunset shared were very good and I like how it ended up.

Blog? Yes. Crappy villains with convoluted plans that hinge on insane? Yes. Sunset Shimmer for the win? Totally! Now let's see how they do with this All Pony movie in a few years and that supposed EQ Girls spin off series.

I think we're going to get more than that sooner than that...because I heard there's supposed to be an EG TV holiday special this year...

Ok, Hasbro...I was cool with "Hearth's Warming Eve" before because it was a "pony world" and whatnot...but you're going to make me :twilightangry2: if you try to do the same thing with the human world...especially since, let's face it, you're a toy company. Christmas is your bread and butter.

Ok, rant over...

5178339 A TV one? I heard it was just a Holiday comic with the EQ girls and Sunset being Christmas-y with friendship and probably some magic based hi jink where they need to fix something or someone because reasons.

There is a Equestria Girls Christmas Comic special coming up. The "Equestria Academy" TV series was apparently some bad translation on the part of a French magazine. It's really just Rainbow Rocks.
