After a smash and grab mission goes haywire, the Master Chief finds himself in Equestria. As he meets the ponies we all know and love, his past with Cortana haunts him as he struggles with his new life.
But a threat who wants revenge makes their move . Will John 117 move on from the past to face the enemy, or will he not care and doom the ponies to their fate?
In the pony timeline, this takes place after Tirek is defeated. In the Halo timeline, it takes place after Halo 4 and before the events of Halo 5.

I may be a purist but the. Master Chief as he's portrayed in the novels is a tactical thinker and not nearly as angsty as this fic and that slimy ball of shit they called Halo 5 would suggest. Just tone down the aggression from his side and turn up the lore. In the game the reason he doesn't have to get out of his suit is because it cycles all fluids through a purifier so he can drink them, also unless he wanted to cook something, a fire would be pointless as he has a controlled enviornment inside the suit. Can't say I know how he eats though cause I don't know.
All you really need to get out of this is that he was top of his class for a reason and he didn't get there through angsty behavior like some cliche in a bad anime.
