The Nightmare has always been a fundamental part of Equestria; as long as there is fear and darkness in the hearts of mortal creatures, the Nightmare will endure. For a thousand years it resided in the body of Princess Luna, but has since been defeated and reduced to a whisper, barely capable of conscious thought. Her Brotherhood has been working hard to find a way to restore The Nightmare to it's full power, and has located the Sanctuary, an artifact that will provide a safe haven for the Nightmare to recover. The only problem is that the Sanctuary is currently in the hands of a Human boy, and it will not allow them to take him away from it.
This is a crossover, only I am intentionally keeping it hidden until the end of the story. There are hints however, and extreme fans of the, um, thing that I'm crossing over with may be able to figure it out. For the most part however, this will just be an adventure story, and I have made it accessible to anyone, even if they hate what I'm crossing over with.

The comment was deleted as I was posting this, but I fixed the misspelling of Equestria. Apparently my tablet, which I used to post this, considers Equesteria a word, but not Equestria, which is weird.

I hope it's Nightmare from Danny Phantom. It would be interesting he's not good or evil only Fear itself.
