Oh, hey, I actually read this story at some point. It sucked. So let's see how the review did.

I do have my limits, not to mention standards when it comes to this sort of thing.

This is largely on point, except for one small issue: this sort of thing sucks. If you like randomfic, you're objectively wrong. (Sometimes people will mistakenly tag absurdist humor as "random". This is incorrect).

Consider this a cry for help, all you “aspiring authors” who think the world needs more stories […] Celestia shags a cactus or whatever...

I would actually read that, but only if the narrator clearly didn't give a fuck, as delightfully suggested by the nice little coda at the end of that description. "Celestia slowly ran her tongue down the length of the cactus, relishing every sharp little prick, and—are you still reading this? Fuck, kid. Go water your plants or something."

Also, if you’re already cramming in references that some people might not get, putting in links to explain them isn’t going to help.
