Discord's reign hurt many. He twisted minds and bodies and made ponies little more than his play things. The world as a whole thinks that Princess Celestia escaped his grasp...but as he plays his games with the Mane Cast, he takes time to visit his old friend Celestia.

You're not actually all that scary to be honest. I don't see why everyone's so afraid of you except in that they may be afraid of disappointing you and are projecting what they feel they deserve onto you.
Personally I don't hate you as much as a reader of my comments might think. I hate what god like entities tend to represent on the big scale. All powerful entities that us meager mortals are incapable of resisting or defending ourselves/our dreams/our friends/etc against the moment one of you says 'no', but aside from your short temper and short sightedness I like you as a person, divorced from the whole godhood thing.
