Very nice, very nice. That does explain why Discord isn't being stopped via an Avatar or something, being the 4th most powerful being in creation right now and all. Though yeah, imagining Discord being spanked by the personification of Fear and Pony Hell is hilarious.

Hold on, I could have sworn that Discord was both corrupted and empowered by Havoc back in the day, and that's the main reason why he is more powerful than the other draconequi, and also more sadistic.

The avatars of the Elder Concepts are basically independent beings. Unlike said the avatar of a concept like Cadence, that are just remote controlled automations.

It's just that this makes it sound like Havoc is denying the actions of his own avatar, when I got the impression that he basically urged on Discord every step of the way. As I recall, there was an awesome mental scene where Discord was symbolically "eaten" by the avatar, signifying he's going to be a real bastard from now on. And I don't recall Havoc or his avatar actually trying to reign him in in person at a later point.
So was this a case of "Havoc wanted him to stop making nice with ponies, but Discord went all Apt Pupil and Havoc was unable to temper him later", or Havoc's avatar is of necessity simpler than Havoc as a whole, so it misses out on the nuances, or Havoc is just heavily shading the truth in this story?

Thanks. And want to leave something to keep readers guessing. The thing is, this is Luna and Celly as incarnations, they're not even actually supposed to remember they're actual gods while flesh and blood. They do because of the mess up with Discord.
