After Discord gives the Royal Archivists more than their fair share of trouble with the writing of his biography, newly-crowned Princess Twilight Sparkle takes it upon herself to get to the bottom of his past.

This sounds awesome, I hope the hiatus ends soon man. But really, I think there are 2 ways to do this:
1: make this the most funny it can be. Make Discord mess with her, something. This could be halarious (misspelled on purpose) if you want it lt to be
2: make it dark, filled with horrifying things Discord has done.

It's less that it's 'on hiatus', and more that it's a side project that I'll add stuff to when I'm not completely buried in all the other stories I'm writing. Discordian shenanigans are always a good, relaxing distraction.

I think I'd like to get a bit more than the introductory chapter done before I send it in to EQD.
This is great. One of the few fics that both take place after Discord's reform and Twilights coronation that's actually good. You write a good Twilight, Victor was a good OC and you portray a great Discord. Both his behaviour and the silliness around him is just right, neither too much nor too little. I hope to see more, because this really shows promise.
Well, I wasn't planning on writing another chapter of this for a while, but after the wonderful reception it got, I just couldn't leave it hanging.
(Guess that's what happens when you write stories about canon characters, huh?)
Hopefully, this chapter will make what I'm planning to do with this story more clear. The idea isn't to tell Discord's whole story - just to tell his origin story. And then his actual origin story. And then his real actual origin story. And so on, and so forth, until Twilight gets so frustrated that she rage-quits the whole ordeal.
I just wanted to make that clear, so that any of you expecting a serious attempt at a Discord life story wouldn't be disappointed. On the same note, if you have any Discord origin ideas that you want me to flesh out/poke fun at, I would be more than happy to do so! I have three more planned already, but this story can have as many chapters as I can think of ways to create a draconequus.
Conversely, if you want to take any ideas you see here and run with them in your own stories, that's fine too. Just tell me, and credit me in the description.

It's not really my idea, but in the [Cr]applejack tumblr, there's an 'Origins of the Elements of Harmony' story, that kind of has a 'origins of Discord' bit in it.
Not sure how I'd flesh it out, but maybe you can work with it.
