I've decided that since good progress has been made on Crashing Angels, I would try something else.
My one shots, I struggled with, so I went back and found it easier to keep writing more cute fillies for a bit.
I tried Our Daughter and cleaned up the half chapter I have written.

Then today I opened Fall of the Rising and had a blast writing. It's a challenging story, managing so many different characters, plot lines and devious plans. But it's fun.

I've just finished the next chapter and made another quick pass over my notes and partly written next scenes. In doing so I've realized something. We're maybe 5 or 6 chapters of build up and cuteness away from the war breaking out and things going totally bonkers. Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy are out for at least a month in storytime before they can risk being active or getting hurt. After weeks of hard work, planning, trimming, making new additions and editing... I have a tentative first 10 chapters back up for Fall of the Rising. The pace for the first part of the story is faster and I have some new content in there. It's still the same story, just with my new ideas incorporated to add depth. I've removed some scenes that I really could not justify being in there and cut down some parts that got too long. I think it flows a lot better, but I'm yet to have anyone let me

Providing I can find some cover art for it, I will have my third and final new story released for the year just after christmas. Quite sad that. I'll only have released 3 stories this whole year...

Fall of the Rising is also due for a chapter update and soon as I get a scene Im stuck on finished, 'Chapter 16: Bed of Pink' will be out
