I was originally planning to make the entire romp through the Final Retreat one chapter, but I realized that detailing all the rooms and traps that the girls encounter is making it rather long. "Day Six" will probably end up being three parts. (Possibly four)

I'm hoping the rest of "Day Six" won't take as long to get out as the wait from "Day Three!" (Please don't hurt me! )

This is me finally noticing the thresholds I've broken with My Little Exalt. With The Invisible Fortress, Day Three I broke the 100,000 word threshold (though if you exempt the original prologue from the word count, I didn't break that threshold until the most recent chapter, The Invisible Fortress, Night Terrors). 100,000 words puts me indisputably in the realm of novel-length. I'm going on two days without internet at my place, which makes it a little hard to post chapter eleven of My Little Exalt. Hang in there! Hopefully my internet will be back soon.

I'm writing this blog post from my phone, there's no way I'm going to type several thousand words on this screen. Also, there doesn't seem to be any link to the "new blog post" button that can be accessed by a touch screen. I should PM knighty about that.

Just tried updating my chapter titles of My Little Exalt with the new %i% notation to automagically generate chapter numbers. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have all the kinks out, so I changed them back. I did update the chapters with the new Author's Note box at the bottom, though. The only difference is that the A/N is now in a block rather than separated from the story by two horizontal rules. The A/N that used to be at the top of the bonus chapter is also now at the bottom of the story,

I was bored, so I drew up a character sheet for Twilight. It's not perfect, just a little fun. This isn't going to absolutely define the Twilight in My Little Exalt, but it's pretty close to her ability in the story at the moment. (Twilight does not currently have Emerald Countermagic, but she's starting to learn sorcery in the chapter I'm currently writing.)

So the problem with saving my changes was apparently the FimFiction Enhancements Greasemonkey script version 10. It accidentally disabled the ability to upload from Google Docs and save changes to the chapter.

If you're using FimFiction Enhancements, don't download version 10!

I finally got off my butt to edit my older chapters... and the save button doesn't seem to work! It's only grammar/clarity stuff so it's not like it's a major impact on you guys, but still! I'm lazy about editing for weeks, and when I finally do pay attention to my editor, I can't give you guys the results.

Chapter four will be delayed due to a family vacation to Palo Duro Canyon this weekend. I'll be working on it tonight, but it is highly unlikely that I'll finish before leaving, especially since I still haven't finished going back over the previous two chapters. (I'm sorry! Sorry for the wait! Chapter 03 "Behemoth in the Room" is more than halfway complete. I had intended to finish it last Sunday (partially to poke fun at my editor, who couldn't look at chapter 02 until then), but I hit a wall a bit after halfway through writing. Then I started getting distracted by things like other people's fics.
