Not dead yet! And MLE Chapter 11 · 1:28am Dec 12th, 2012

Just tried updating my chapter titles of My Little Exalt with the new %i% notation to automagically generate chapter numbers. Unfortunately, they don't seem to have all the kinks out, so I changed them back. I did update the chapters with the new Author's Note box at the bottom, though. The only difference is that the A/N is now in a block rather than separated from the story by two horizontal rules. The A/N that used to be at the top of the bonus chapter is also now at the bottom of the story, but that's not very important. The A/N box doesn't seem to have affected the word counts displayed on the story page, strangely enough.

About MLE Ch.11: I'm working on it. This chapter is turning out to be the most difficult to write so far, and getting strung up for an EEG over the past weekend didn't help. (I'm fine, promise! I just have a new neurologist and she wanted to collect her own data on my brain.) Despite what Geren or Dante might say about my functionality at our Alchemicals game, the electrodes were extremely uncomfortable, and I had to wear them from Thursday morning to Sunday morning. Then it took about four showers to even attempt to untangle my hair and get most (not even all!) of the glue out. And between all the combing and brushing, I'm pretty sure at least 1/4 of my hair is in my trash can. I think there's still some shredded gauze hiding in my hair...

But anyway! I'm working on chapter 11. It'll be done when it's done. Here's a peek!

BUT WHAT ABOUT TRIXIE?
"Kinyesi! Kwamba inaumiza!" the zebra shouted as Morning struck the needle in a particularly sensitive spot at the base of her tail.

Zecora turned to glare at the elder lunar. Morning smiled back at her and said, "I don't think I need a translation for that one."

In moments, what had once been an alien figure in silver armor became a handsome griffin in silver armor.

"... Hawt," was all Gilda could manage.
