Happy Christmas, everypony!

I'll admit that I fell off the writing wagon a bit after I exhausted my buffer of completed chapters for Stargate Tail. I'm planning to post Chapter 9 soon, though, so that's a Christmas present from me to all of you.

I'm personally about 12 hours away from opening presents with my family, but I'm sure there are people out there who have already begun Christmas proper. I did do Secret Santa at work, though, so I've gotten some presents already.

Whoops! I forgot to post chapter eight this afternoon, sorry for being late!

While I've got you here, I'll let you know that chapter eight marks the end of my buffer of already-complete chapters that allowed me to post a new chapter every week. While chapter nine is partially written, I can't guarantee I'll finish it by next Friday.

The story updates will now slow down, from 1/week that I've been doing, to probably 1-2/month.

I'm currently on vacation, so I've got extra time to write this week. I'm on chapter 8 right now, and I'm hoping to extend my buffer a bit so that I can keep the 1/week updates going on longer.

Of course, I've also got Labor Day off work.

My G10 Spindown dice just arrived in the mail today!

I got mine from the Kickstarter project, but now that that's over, you can also buy them on Etsy.

The dice themselves are very light, I suspect they may not be solid. The cradles are injection-molded (the prototypes for displaying on the Kickstarter were 3D-printed).

So today knighty threw up documentation for a FimFiction REST API. I've only skimmed the documentation so far, but from the looks of things I should be able to throw together a Google Apps Script which will integrate with Google Docs and allow you to post/update stories from within Docs. Could be neat!

We'll see how far this goes.
