A good friend of mine gave me a belated birthday present just a few hours ago; a ponified version of me!
So, I figured, why not make it my new avatar?
I cropped it down and erased a couple pencil lines visible in the scanned image for my avatar version. Here's the full picture:
I look so serious with those Magic cards, no?

Hmm, I'm wondering if I should emphasize the lines more for the digital version? It looks pretty good on paper, but seems kinda washed out on my computer screen. What do you think?

Slightly related; the pre-release for Gatecrash (the new Magic: the Gathering set) is this weekend. I will be attending all five flights being held at my local game store between Saturday and Sunday. These are the days most of my writing takes place. As such, the next chapter of My Little Exalt may end up delayed, depending on how tired I am after the tournaments.

Well, I did my best. Here's a comparison.

The vector version looks chunkier, and without a proper vectoring program like Illustrator I had to cheat in a couple places (like the lines for the mouth and haunches). I do like how the magic aura and the eye came out, though.
