Alright, well I'm glad to say that I've finally published a new chapter! (Technically two, counting the 3rd person intermission of Myst's POV). It took around two months to write; college got in the way. But damn, even I'm surprised by the stuff I put into Myst's chapter, Discordance. I mean... shit. Kinda scares me sometimes.

After seven chapters of Goldwreath's perspective, it is at last time to tell the narrative from Myst's PoV. Seeing as all of New Roam Innovatus is basically being told through an interview-type telling, Myst will, as well as GW, occasionally address the audience -- with extra shyness, of course.

Of course, there must be a transition from GW to Myst. That little bit I'm writing right now.

I am referring, of course, to the chapter that has stymied me for around three months. Honestly, at just around 15k words, you'd think I'd have had it done in a week. DAMN YOU GAMING. Well, whatever the case, it's finally almost done. The last 2 or 3 thousand words can be added swiftly enough since I've gained sufficient momentum over the course of the week. I still wish it hadn't taken so long, but what can you do, eh?

Okay, okay. I'll admit, I'm no longer the writer I used to be. By that I mean I'm no longer the writer that pumped out 30k word chapters in just a month; now it takes me a little over a month to jock out a 17-20k chapter. Which, considering how many people argue a chapter should never be TOO long so as to not lose audience interest (I'm looking at you, Chapter 19!), is actually a good thing.
