So It's Finally Almost Done · 10:29am Apr 13th, 2014
I am referring, of course, to the chapter that has stymied me for around three months. Honestly, at just around 15k words, you'd think I'd have had it done in a week. DAMN YOU GAMING. Well, whatever the case, it's finally almost done. The last 2 or 3 thousand words can be added swiftly enough since I've gained sufficient momentum over the course of the week. I still wish it hadn't taken so long, but what can you do, eh?
Oh, for the readers of the old story (and not a spoiler for any new fans, if any), I realized I had a bunch of pictures depicting a humanized Predator. Taken as screenshots from Fallout 3 using some mods, here they are:
Here he is, idling in an old diner. And yes, that is Applejack on my character's PipBoy.
And here he is, keeping an eye out over the wastes at night.
In his safehouse, watching the front door while a thrall and the thrall's dog idle in the back.
Sniffing the air.
Post it now. Like, right now.

*flails* I'm greatly looking forward to the new chapter as well!
Huh... your human predator kind of reminds me of a less mutated Snork from S.T.A.L.K.E.R. except with a dual-filter gas mask instead of the GP-4 hose-mask that the Snork has...
2012150 Huh. Really? I searched up the Snork, and the thing looks more like a crouching monkey than anything. I actually think Predator looks more like the Helghast from Killzone mixed with the rangers from Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light.
2015193 Really? i did say less mutated, and i really meant more in the last frame than anything else. And the Metro ranger comparison is more in line with the undead from the developer pack rather than the rangers in my opinion

... actually, in my mind, makes the look of Predator. But eh, what can you do. Different people see things differently.
