Hello again. I think it's time for me to talk a bit about my presence here on FimFiction once more, mostly from the side of actual content-creation activity. It's been a while since I last touched upon this subject in my blogs, I think.
As of today, I have finished the last project needed to pass my term. It's been a dreadful couple of weeks; it saw filming, presentations, research papers, translations and exams, but in the end I've managed to push through. Well, most likely, at least; it's not like all this stuff has already been graded, but for now, well, I have some free time.
I find it a little amusing that lately, I've somewhat moved away from regularly posting my pure thoughts on this site, instead focusing much more on strictly technical activity updates. All this while my writing hobby slowly shrinks and withers away for the time being, and real life and complex thoughts take its place.
Hello all; it's been a while, I know. I'm sorry for that, sincerely sorry, if you can believe me. As much as I'd love to promise, here and now, that I'll be more active on this site from this moment on, I can't actually be sure. It's just... difficult, you know? There's too little keeping me here, besides potentially reading stories, which is an activity I haven't performed in a while. I may get back into it, but who knows. Despite everything though, I can't bring myself to really leave
It's 10:52 PM, the weather outside is clear and I feel like I'm burning alive in the heat. I'm not too used to temperatures even a bit higher than normal, and installing Air Conditioning in my house would make little sense as where I live it's only needed for a grand total of about a month every year.
Okay guys and gals, it's 3:12 in the morning as I'm writing these words, I'm absolutely exhausted and I've just finished re-reading the first chapter of Deos ex Caellis, looking for parts that may not fit the story's new direction. Luckily for me, mostly everything seems fine; minor edits were done to the structure of the chapter, but nothing more than that.
So, I guess now I can start writing the second part of the tale... not today, though. I need sleep.
Cheers!
I guess I've come here to ramble a bit, not sure what about though. I like to ramble in my blogs, and recently I've had this nagging feeling that I should do it more often; nay, I simply wanted to do more of it. This is kind of... like a chalkboard on which I can write whatever, and I know someone will read it. Such a feeling is... refreshing, for some reason. Soothing.
Recently my newest story, Deos ex Caellis, has crossed the barrier of 10 votes in total, meaning that the ratio is now visible to anyone. It's not much, but I'm happy it's been received this warmly nonetheless.
I wanted to wait for this "occassion" to post an update regarding the story, my work on it and how long the wait for new chapters might be. As such, I am now writing this here blog; a largely technical one for my readers who might be curious about these things.
