Deos ex Caellis · 8:01pm May 13th, 2023
Recently my newest story, Deos ex Caellis, has crossed the barrier of 10 votes in total, meaning that the ratio is now visible to anyone. It's not much, but I'm happy it's been received this warmly nonetheless.
I wanted to wait for this "occassion" to post an update regarding the story, my work on it and how long the wait for new chapters might be. As such, I am now writing this here blog; a largely technical one for my readers who might be curious about these things.
And so, here is where I stand: currently, the second chapter of Deos ex Caellis is at very early concept stage. It's not being actively written yet, and might not be for a while more for several reason; one would be my own lack of time due to an approaching exam season. You also need to remember that I'm not a professional writer and while I consider scribbling pony words to be quite entertaining, even in my free time there are other things I often want to do. Since yesterday, I've been absorbed in playing Tears of the Kingdom (great game, by the way!), for example. Add to that factors such as periodic burnouts, and you've got yourself a recipe for a slow worker.
I might consider taking this hobby a bit more seriously once I pass 100 followers, but I don't know exactly how much of a change that would be. It's still a very small number in the grand scheme of things, and for now, I don't have even that. For now, though, I estimate that the wait for Chapter 2 of my newest story may take between two and three months, although it might be even longer.
Other than that, I just want to quickly clarify that while work is ongoing on Deos ex Caellis, no sequel to OSaGA is likely to come out. Maybe if DeC ends up growing larger than expected, which I don't really want to happen. All of that though doesn't mean the OSaGA lore group is getting abandoned, though; no, I still very much want to work on that part of my activity here, even if in slightly reduced capacity.
That's all for today, folks. Thanks for taking your time to hear me out!
I would rather a healthy you then a burnt out you. Writing and reading are cool but, take care of yourself...![](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/twilightsmile.png)

Thanks, BleuBlooms.
I'll try to, haha.![](https://static.fimfiction.net/images/emoticons/heart.png)
Although Deos ex Caellis is meant to be a slightly shorter story, right now writing more would simply be difficult. That said, it's naturally going to be continued. Thank you for all the patience and goodwill, I really appreciate it!
