I guess I've come here to ramble a bit, not sure what about though. I like to ramble in my blogs, and recently I've had this nagging feeling that I should do it more often; nay, I simply wanted to do more of it. This is kind of... like a chalkboard on which I can write whatever, and I know someone will read it. Such a feeling is... refreshing, for some reason. Soothing.
Finishing the, "Ancient history timeline" on my lore group has brought a much needed relief; this isn't to say that it was some great accomplishment, by no means! No, it was simply something stuck at the back of my head no matter what else I'd be doing, a reminder of unfinished endeavors. Now that it's over, I can focus on Deos ex Caellis. But here comes a problem, I need to edit the first chapter over before I get to properly writing the next one, and it's hard to get inspired to edit stuff. Editing and overhauling chapters is hardly a creative activity, or at least not much so, not for me. And remember, I am very much still an amateur at this, I write for fun, I like it when I create. But this... this isn't the same. The next chapter should come before the end of summer, though.
Speaking of Deos ex Caellis, I added new short and long descriptions! The original concept for the story was for it to focus on interstellar diplomacy and the efforts of a smaller power to stay neutral in a conflict between empires, but that's too similar to OSaGA, isn't it? I wanted to try something else for once, and focus on a narrative about a journey. We'll see how that will end up, though.
I... am not sure what more to ramble about. I'm kind of grasping at straws here, haha. So I guess I will end this blog.

Glad to see you are putting your blog to good use. Many use their blogs to work on their stories and I think it's a great idea. Hope it helps your stories and helps with writer's block.

I think I did post a story snippet in my blogs once or twice, but I feel like something like that wouldn't really garner many views and thus feedback. All most people seem to be interested in are catchy titles and the first few lines, which quite honestly, I'm utterly terrible at.
Marketing my work may actually be the single thing I'm poorest at, haha. But hey, there's no harm in trying again, right?
I may post a few unrelated scenes I write in my blog posts and see how it goes.

I'd say they've been doing okay-ish so far, and I don't really have high ambitions, so there's that.
